The keeper of the Jewel House having delivered to the Aribishop the King's Ruby Coronation Ring, the Aribishop placed it on the fourth finger of George V on his right hand, (to ensign of kindly dignity, and of defence of the Catholic Faith), and sybolises his being (sealed withthe Spirit of promise). The Sceptre with the cross and Sceptre with the dove, (ensign of kindly power and justice) and (rod of enquity and mercy) were than placed into the King's hands.
