The Countess Hoey Stoker, daughter of Count Oei Tiong Han, Chinese businessman and married to an officer in the British Army. Pictured with her son in The Tatler, she is described as having, 'a fondness for aviation and was among the first ladies to indulge in civilian flying when it was permitted at Cricklewood last year.'
