The Countess of Leicester, previously Lady Elizabeth Yorke (1912 - 1985), who acted as Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Elizabeth II at her Coronation, pictured wearing the Norman Hartnell dress she wore on the occasion. Designed by Norman Hartnell, it was of a white and gold French lame with a trailing leaf design.
