Description | Cut and he will not come again by Reginald Higgins |
Details |
An illustration showing a mermaid with the shorn, shingled Eton crop hairstyle of the 1920s, looking rather forlorn as she waits for her lover to return. Unfortunately, because she has cut off all her beautiful locks in a fit of hysterical feminism, he's not interested any more! A rather chauvinistic illustration commenting on the trend for short and bobbed hair during the mid-20s.
