Details

Salvador Dali (1904 - 1989), the surrealist artist, is shown socialising in the evening after a day's work at his summer home in Port Lligat, at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees. Standing on the left is the Catalanian writer J. V. Foix. On the right, one of the master's young disciples prepares to show his work.
