Description | Decca gramophone advertisement, 1917 |
Details |
Advertisement for Decca gramophones, ideal for use at the Front during the Great War due to it being self-contained, portable and having no loose parts. Illustration shows a large parcel being delivered by a sergeant who says to an enquiring soldier, 'It's a Decca m'lad, for the Captain.' Perhaps if they're lucky, the Captain might let them have a listen!
