Advertisement for the Decca gramophone, showing a jolly party with some men in khaki uniform and some in evening dress dancing with girls. Throughout the war, Decca gramophone adverts depicted life in the trenches (and the joy brought there by their music). In this post-war advert, published in February 1919, the mood is joyful and optimistic.
