From left, Lady Diana Manners (later Lady Diana Cooper), Lady Marjorie Manners (later Marchioness of Anglesey) and Lady Violet Manners (Lady Elcho), the three daughters of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland who are described in The Tatler as 'clever amateur actresses' and 'enthusiastic sportswomen.' The magazine notes that Lady Diana, the youngest, is photographed for the first time with her hair up.
