Description Dismantling Norfolk House, St James's Square
Details

Workmen taking down one of the gilded mirrors in the ballroom at Norfolk House, St James's Square, London, the fittings of which are dismantled prior to the demolition of the whole residence. Norfolk House was built in 1722 for Thomas Howard, 8th Duke of Norfolk, and demolished in 1938.
