The Drawing Room at St Clare, the family home of the Vernon-Harcourts, near Ryde on the Isle of Wight. It was here that Princess Alice, third child and second daughter of Queen Victoria, and her new husband, Prince Louis of Hesse-Darmstadt, spent their honeymoon following their marriage at nearby Osborne House on 2 July 1862.
