Description | Drystone Walls of the North |
Details |
Drystone Walls of the North - Huge boulders form a base for this drystone wall in the Langdales: they provide a firm and good foundation as the wall will be required to withstand frequent rushes of water. A stone put out of place will soon expose the core of the wall to the weather.
