Charles Spencer-Churchill, the 9th Duke of Marlborough, and Miss Gladys Deacon on their wedding day in Paris, June 1921. The Rev T.H. Wright officiated and Mlle. Christine de Boisrouvray was train-bearer. Gladys Deacon was the Duke's second wife. The word 'obey' was apparently omitted from her wedding vows.
