Polo ponies receiving early morning exercise at the National School of Equitation, headquarters for the Season for the ponies of Mr Schwarz, also known as the owner of Jack Horner, the Grand National winner. Mr Earl Hopping was another American enthusiast who could be seen on most days, schooling ponies in the field adjacent to the big covered riding school of the NSE.
