A report of the succesful ascent of the north face of the Eiger by an Austro-German expedition - Heckmeier and Vorg from Munich and Kasparek and Harrer from Vienna. As well as portraits of the four men, the feature includes three images of Kasparek climbing; some of the equipment used; and a picture of Harrer cooking.
