Details |
Troops giving 'Eyes left' to President O'Kelly as they passed down O'Connel Street in the big, military parade on Independence Day. Mr. O'Kelly stood on a canopied dais between the pillars of the General Post Office, scene of some of the bitterest fighting during the 1916 Rebellion. A huge map showing all Ireland as one unit hung between the columns of the Post Office, and the columns were also draped with laurel wreaths.
