Examples of the Elater (also known as the Click Beetle, Snapping Beetle, or Spring Beetle, Skipper or Skipjack of the Elateridae family) and an Elops Saurus (Saur-fish, Ladyfish or Ten-Pounder, of the Elopidae family), a tropical species of fish. The beetle has a clicking mechanism which allows it to jump into the air to avoid predators.
