Modern electrical devices from 1913: A lady fries herself some eggs for her breakfast in an electric frying pan. A nurse heats some water in a hot water cup, with a baby's bottle and an iron on the table. A heated urn also supplies hot tea for a lady's afternoon social gathering, and a maid curls her mistress' hair with heated curling tongs. The electricity is channelled from a light fitting on the wall.
