Description Electric underground railway train, City to Stockwell 1890
Details

The Prince of Wales formally opened the new underground electric railway, three miles and a quarter in length, from King William Street in the City, passing under the Thames to the Borough, the Elephant and Castle and on to Stockwell. The service was provided by City and South London Railway.
