A public baptismal ceremony at the Albert Hall on Good Friday, 1928, where nine hundred men and women of the Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance were immersed in a tank of warm water. Principal George Jeffreys, the Welsh founder of the sect, is shown here in the flower decked tank with his arms around two of the women converts.
