Emile Leon Cammaerts (1878-1953), Belgian poet, playwright and writer. He wrote a biography of King Albert I of Belgium and became Professor of Belgian Studies at the University of London. Married to the actress Miss Tita Brand, he is pictured here in uniform as a member of the United Arts' Corps during the First World War.
