Scenes from London and Portsmouth showing festivities to celebrate the Entente Cordiale between Britain and France, signed April 8th 1904. The agreement was initiated by Edward VII and aimed to resolve disputes over colonial territories. However, it also marked a watershed in Anglo-French relations, ending centuries of conflict and mistrust to form an enduring alliance between the two countries.
