A pierrot singing a popular song at the 3rd London General Hospital, Wandsworth with a large proportion of the audience made up by wounded soldiers. The Sphere magazine comments that it, 'is one of the best run hospitals in the whole of the London area. Its bright ideas for employing and entertaining the men have already gained the hospital considerable renown.' The magazine lists some of the most popular songs of the time as, Keep the home fires burning, When Oirish eyes are smiling and Blue eyes.
