Evacuating hospital patients from Westminster Hospital under the threat of air raids in World War Two. In accordance with the government evacuation scheme at the start of the war, certain London hospitals arranged for a number of their patients to be removed to the country. Here a stretcher case is taken to an ambulance, with a heavily sandbagged wall in the background.
