Page from 'The Pictorial Times', November 1843, showing Nelson's Columns finally stages of erection in Trafalgar Square, London, surrounded by timber scaffold. In the illustration people are gathered around the staue of Admiral Horatio Nelson at the bottom of the column and at the summit is the actual flag of which the Nelson fell.
