Description | Explanation of Flying Lessons by G. H. Davis |
Details |
A diagram detailing how one learns to fly a light aeroplane. With the rise in popularity of owning a plane, flying lessons also became more popular. Here, the lessons are explained in detail. First, the controls are explained. Next, the basic theory of flight, and principles of taking off and landing are studied and practised. The pupil then is allowed to have full control, and practise more advanced manoeuvres until the test for the Royal Aero-Club certificate. After this, the pupil is taught navigation, and sent on a cross-country flight to complete the training.
