Exploration in Vigo Bay, diving for treasure at the bottom of the sea. Stories told that in 1702 a 'plate ship,' galleons and vessels bringing 'barbaric gold and pearls,' was in combat, in which a French squadron was annihilated in an engagement in concert with the fleet of Philip of Anjjou.
