Top left, model Hilary Charles, sister of the artist Pat Charles, top right Lady Pamela Smith, daughter of Lord Birkinhead, later Lady Pamela Berry, middle, Thelma, Lady Furness, for some time mistress of the Prince of Wales (King Edward VIII), bottom left, Lady Lindsay-Hogg, the former actress Frances Doble, bottom right, Viscountess Massereene and Ferrard and bottom centre, Miss Diana Mainwaring.
