Fantastic Adventures - Eye of the World by Alexander Blade. Two men parachute over a mountain range, passing by a gigantic jewel. One man shields his eyes from the diamonds powerful glare, the other man (nearer to the diamond) struggles as the light from the precious jewel burns his parachute.
