Princess Mary presenting medals to Land Girls in December 1919 at the Draper's Hall, at their last rally before demobilisation. Fifty five women were awarded Distinguished Service Bars for deeds of bravery whilst in charge of horses, cattles and the like. Pictured is Miss Ascanio being decorated by the Princess.
