Description | Fashions for the deck on summer cruising days |
Details |
Suggested outfits to wear on a summer cruise or transatlantic voyage all from Debenham and Freebody. From left, a two-piece costume in scarlet wool with a smartly flared skirt and coat-jumper displaying an openwork yoke fastened with brass buttons. Next is a top-coat of camel fleece with a storm collar, capacious pockets and a workmanlike belt. Then some smart slacks of navy blue jersey worn with an attractive jumper in scarlet and white wool in a fancy stitch and a black tam o'shanter to finish off the look. Finally, the lady who is lazily sitting in a deck-chair wears a jumper of bright green with a high roll collar and diagonal fastening.
