Entitled 'In the shadow of the sphinx: Feeding London's Derelicts at the foot of Cleopatra's Needle'. Since 1909, during the winter months a huge crowd of the destitute came to avail of the free food and clothing provided by Mr. and Mrs. Eustace Miles. Queen Alexandra took a great interest in this charity where every penny fed one person and no expenses were charged to the fund.
