Description Fighting the weather on the Western Front 1916
Details

Heavy rain courses massive problems for troops on the western front, churned up by previous transportation and shell fire, made vast streches of mud pits filled with stagnated water. The troops found themselves trying to move stuck guns by using ropes fasterened to the wheels, pulled by horse and man power.
