Description First experiences with Mazamboni's people
Details

Stanley comes into conflict with Mazamboni's people on the Emin Pasha relief expedition in central Africa. Natives, armed with bows, arrows and spears, are fired on at close range with rifles by Stanley's men. This is a view of the fight from Nzera Kum Hill.
