Description | Florence Mills |
Details |
Florence Mills (1896 - 1927), born Florence Winfrey, American cabaret singer, dancer and comedienne. Pictured while appearing in 'From Dover Street to Dixie' a Charles Cochran revue produced at the London Pavilion in 1923. Note with interest the swastika design on her headdress, at that point in time merely a symbol of good luck.
