Florence Mills, born Florence Winfrey (1896 - 1927), American cabaret star, singer, dancer and comedienne. Pictured centre stage with Miss Tillie Meadows and Miss Lucia Moses during the number 'Jazz Time came from the South ' in the Charles Cochran revue 'Black Birds ' which was performed at the London Pavilion in 1926 with an all-star black cast.
