Description | Fortified Onondaga Village |
Details |
A walled and fortified village of the Onondaga people, part of the Iroquois Confederacy, is attacked by Samuel de Champlain and Huron soldiers. Champlain and his men attack from the left with guns, but are halted by the river that surrounds the village on both sides. Onondaga soldiers fire arrows back, as another one on a middle bank stokes a fire to create a smokescreen.
