FRED PERRY British tennis player. The three-time Wimbledon champion (1934-36) was the first player to win all four Grand Slam singles titles. Pictured in the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News in April 1931, who comment that he is, 'a young British lawn tennis hope: Frederick J. Perry, who beat Powell and Miki in one day with great ease at Paddington.'
