Description French Algerian troops in World War One
Details

A column of French colonial Algerian Tirailleurs (commonly known as Turcos) on the march northward towards Rheims. These sharpshooters form part of the forces raised by the French in Algeria, though the officers and certain non-commissioned officers are French. (They should not be mistaken for Zouaves.)
