How the French army contradicts German misstatements. A French biplane drops leaflets over German land hoping to prove to the German soldiers the falsity of the statements made to them by their officers concerning the ferocity of the French to prisoners of war: To the German soldiers - it is not true that we, Frenchmen, shoot of ill-treat German prisoners ... The leaflets also exhort Germans to give themselves up as they will be well-received and be allowed to return home after the war.
