Upper image shows natives bringing back to shore a Belgian vessel, the Netta, driven from her moorings by one of the sudden storms prevalent on Lake Tanganyika. Lower image shows armed motor boats Mimi and Tou-tou with their guns mounted, being finally equipped to move out on the lake to battle. First World War in Africa.
