Mr Plum Goes Right Off His Game. Cartoon illustration by George Ernest Studdy (1878-1948)showing a strawberry and a plum playing tennis. Studdy, who is better known as the creator of Bonzo, the cartoon dog who featured in The Sketch, drew other humorous illustrations for the Illustrated London News magazines, including this series for Holly Leaves, the Christmas number of the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News.
