Advertisement for Gamages, the famous toy store in Holborn, London, with a selection of presents for Christmas 1914 including some war themed suggestions such as a game called 'Britwar,' (The Game of the moment. Makes you feel you are in the wild free country, and is actual warfare. Boys are delighted with it, and soldiers say it is "THE THING." A versatile military education). Also, are Dreadnought Christmas crackers, plus a French knitting machine, tricycle horses, a Braille game where animals are identified by touch and the 'Phyllis' doll. The store advertises a 'Great War Tableaux' alongside their usual Christmas Fair.
