Photograph showing General Gustav Jodl (centre), the Nazi Chief-of-Staff, pictured just prior to his signing the unconditional surrender of Germany to end the Second World War in Europe, 1945. This surrender took place at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force at Rheims in France on 7th May that year.
