Central London's First Aeroplane - Blitz 1940. Page from The Sphere magazine reporting on German bombers brought down over the UK during the Blitz of September 1940. Notable is the German bomber that was brought down and crashed in the area around Victoria Station in London. Part of the enemy fuselage actually hit the station and landed in the forecourt.
