Description | German prisoners in Britain, camp leader's hut |
Details |
German prisoners of war in Britain post-World War Two: in the camp leader's hut, a prisoner reads a letter with news of German affairs from his parents who live near Leipzig. The ILN writes that the prisoners have only one real complaint - uncertainty, and that at the time of writing the British Government had not yet announced its future plans even though hostilities ceased over a year before.
