Photograph of the tallest skyscraper (at the time) being built in New York by the Woolworth Company. Workman holding on with nothing but rope chains and without any safety equipment, photo taken when the building had progressed to the thirtieth story, thousands of New Yorkers gathered to see the workers putting in place the gigantic steel girders.
