Gladys Edith Mabel Calthrop (née Treeby), (1894 - 1980), artist and leading British stage designer. She is best known as the set and costume designer and for her collaborations, providing set and costumes for her friend Noel Coward's plays. Pictured wearing a monogrammed jumper - popular during the 1930s and 40s.
