Page from the Illustrated London News showing the going away outfit for Princess Patricia of Connaught following her wedding to Captain Alexander Ramsay in February 1919. The one-piece dress of heavy blue silk stockingette, with embroidery around the neck and hemline was by Madame Handley Seymour as was the three quarter length cape cloak elephant grey faced cloth with a draped collar in charmeuse. The bottom picture shows the couple being chauffeur driven as they set off for their honeymoon in the country.
