Advertising flyer for the Grand Centrifugal Railway, an Extraordinary Novelty, 200 feet long, with a Virtical (sic) Circle, upwards of 40 feet in circumference. The centrifugal railway was an early form of rollercoaster, a loop-the-loop, 'on which a carriage of nearly 200lbs, containing a lady or gentleman, descends an inclined plane, passing round a vertical circle...turning the head of the individual downwards, and feet in the air...at the rate of 100 miles an hour.'
