Grand Duke Sergius Alexandrovich (1857 - 1905), son of Emperor Alexander II of Russia. He was influential during the reigns of his brother, Tsar Alexander III of Russia and his nephew, Tsar Nicholas II. Between 1891 and 1905 he was Governor General of Moscow; his controversial policies meant he was targeted by revolutionaries and assassinated by a terrorist bomb at the Kremlin.
